Privacy Statement

This Privacy Policy describes and outlines how Gopaddi and its affiliates (collectively, Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles the collection, usage, disclosure, transfer, and protection of personal data when you make use of our websites, marketplace, mobile applications, APIs, social features, booking tools, and related services on either the travel, hotel, restaurant or night life operating systems (collectively, the “Operating System (OS)”).


When you access or use the OS you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, capitalized terms shall have the meanings given to them in the Personal OS Terms of Use.

1. Scope and Application

This Privacy Policy applies to individual end-users who:

• browse, register, or interact with the Platform;
• book or manage travel, hospitality, nightlife, tourism, or event services;
• create, post, share, or interact with content; or
• communicate with other users or Suppliers.

This Policy applies where we act as a data controller. Suppliers and corporate customers may be subject to separate privacy notices or data processing agreements.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically, and from third parties.

2.1 Information You Provide
Account and Profile Information
• Name, username, date of birth or age, profile photo, email address, phone number, postal address, biography, preferences, and language settings.
• Identification verification document where required. 
Bookings and Transactions
• Traveler names, reservations, travel itineraries, tickets, loyalty identifiers, customer service interactions and preferences.
• Credit/debit card information, transaction identifiers and payment tokens (full payment card data is processed by PCI-compliant payment providers and is not
stored by us).
Information You Give us about Others
• Name, date of birth or age, email address, phone number, nationality, postal address, allergies restriction, health condition, and any other personal information.
• You are responsible for notifying others when you provide their information through our OS. You are also responsible for ensuring that they understand how the information you shared is being used.
User-Generated Content (UGC)
• Posts, reviews, comments, photos, audio, videos, messages, event listings, ratings,
hashtags, and travel stories.
• Metadata associated with UGC (geolocation tags, engagement metrics, timestamps).
Communications
• Messages with customer support, other users and Suppliers; surveys and feedback.
Social Connections
• Followers, groups, friends, and interaction data where social features are enabled.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device and Technical Data
• IP address, device type, app version, device identifiers, crash logs, browser type and settings, and operating system.
Usage and Interaction Data
• Pages viewed, search queries, timestamps, features used, referral URLs, and session data.
Referral Information
• Information on third parties who refer you to use the OS.
Location Data
• Approximate location (for example, region or city derived from IP address) and exact location where you enable device permissions.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
• Data collected via cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (see our Cookies Policy).
2.3 Information from Third Parties
• Payment processors and financial institutions.
• Social media platforms and identity providers (if you link accounts).
• Travel partners, event organizers, and other Suppliers.
• Advertising and analytics partners.

3. Sensitive and Special Category Data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (for example health, political opinions, race, sexual orientation, or religion). Where sensitive data is processed (such as precise location or government-issued IDs for verification), we do so only where permissible by law and with appropriate safeguards and consent where required.


You are prohibited from uploading explicit or illegal content. Violations may result in removal of content, account suspension, or termination. See the Community Guidelines for more details.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

4.1 Providing and Running the OS
• Creating and managing accounts.
• Showing applicable prices based on region.
• Processing bookings, payments, and confirmations.
• Enabling social features, communications and content sharing.
4.2 Personalization and Recommendations
• Personalizing feeds, search results and ranking.
• Recommending travel, tourism, hospitality, nightlife, and event experiences.
• Improving and training AI systems.
4.3 Communications
• Sending transactional messages (confirmations, receipts, security alerts).
• Providing customer support.
• Sending marketing communications (subject to consent and local law).
4.4 Marketing Activities
• Delivering and measuring advertisements.
• Conducting market research.
• Sending promotions, surveys and other updates.
• Improving the OS.
• Conducting audience measurement, attribution, and analytics.
4.5 Safety, Security, and Compliance
• Preventing fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• Enforcing our Terms of Use, Safety Guidelines and Community Guidelines.
• Complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests.

6. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

6.1 Suppliers
• Travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, nightlife venues, restaurants and event organizers to fulfill bookings and services.
6.2 Third Party Service Providers
• Payment processors, cloud hosting, fraud prevention, analytics, customer support, and IT vendors under contractual confidentiality obligations.
6.3 Advertising and Social Media Partners
• For advertising measurement, attribution, and targeted advertising (subject to consent and local law).
6.4 Affiliates and Corporate Group
• Our affiliates and subsidiaries for internal business operations and support.
6.5 Legal and Regulatory Authorities
• Where required by law, court directive, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7. User-Generated Content and Public Information

Depending on your privacy settings content you post may be publicly visible. You are responsible for the content you share and should not post personal data of others without 
consent.

We may display UGC within the OS and, subject to your settings and applicable law, use UGC for promotional and product improvement purposes.

8. Artificial Intelligence

We look for opportunities to innovate and improve your experience on the OS by leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) systems. We use AI on the OS in various ways such as:
• personalizing content based on your preferences and interest
• monitoring fraud and complaints.
• developing and offering interactive chats.

We assess our AI systems against data protection principles such as data minimization, accuracy and purpose limitation.

9. Cookies, SDKs, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to authenticate users, analyze performance, personalize content, and deliver advertising. You can manage preferences via our cookie banner and device settings. See our Cookies Policy for details.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information:
• while your account is active;
• for 1 year after account inactivity or termination for legal, tax, and regulatory purposes; and
• for longer where required for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

We anonymize or delete data when it is no longer required.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and incident response procedures. We also ensure that
staff are alerted to security risks through continuous training.
In addition, we recommend that you:
• create account and protect account using a strong password as well two-factor authentication mechanism where applicable.
• avoid using same password across multiple online services
• read articles we may make available to you on online fraud prevention and data protection.

12. International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be accessed from, processed or transferred to countries other than your country residence. These countries may have different data protection laws from your country of residence. Data transfer in these instances is necessary for you to maximally use the services in the OS, and for other purposes stated in this Privacy Statement.

We have Suppliers, other third-party providers and Gopaddi Group companies located in United States, Nigeria and other parts of the world. Your data may be processed in any of
those countries. Similarly, our employees may access your personal data from various countries around the world.

Gopaddi has put in place necessary safeguards and taken appropriate to ensure that any access, processing and/or transfer of your personal data is protected in compliance with the
relevant data protection law.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
• access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your personal data;
• restrict or object to processing;
• data portability;
• opt out of targeted advertising or the sale/share of personal information;
• withdraw consent at any time.

14. Children

The OS is not intended for children under 18 (depending on jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent.

In limited circumstances we may need to collect from parents or guardians the personal data of minors for the purpose:
• a reservation
• the purchase of other travel-related services
• In other exceptional circumstances (e.g. features addressed to families).

If we become aware (for example, through a Customer Support request) that we’ve processed personal data about minors without the valid consent of their parent or guardian where required, we will delete it.

We want you to be in control of how we use your personal data. You have the following rights:
• Access
• Correction
• Erasure
• Restriction
• Portability
• Withdrawal of consent
• Objection

17. Updates to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be reviewed from time to time. Where updates are made, it will be communicated to you through the OS or by email.
